About the Course
In this course, we take you through the fundamental functionalities of Miro. Miro is a powerful tool, used to visualize complex processes and the relationships between them in the form of a concept map / mind map. You will be required to create at least one A4 page, which summarises and represents the key concepts from a unit of content you teach. You will brainstorm with the learners, prior to commencement of the activity, and at the end of every class. The idea is to fill in information which builds on the learners' prior knowledge. After the weeks brainstorming, you can choose to print the page and hand it out to learners, or you can share the page electronically with learners. You will have to make use of a smart device (such as a laptop or tablet) to interact with Miro. Your learners, as well as other teachers can work collaboratively on the same board as you. We do however strongly recommend uploading the completed work on Google Classroom, so that it is available to you learners at any time. You can do this in PDF format, as an image, or by hyperlinking the board in Google Classroom.
